9 Summers 10 Autumns: A Journey of Inspiration and Family Love

This is the story of a Batu City minibus driver’s child who went on to become a director in New York City—a father who couldn’t recall his son’s birth date. He merely completed the second grade of junior high school. Meanwhile, a mother could not complete elementary school. They exemplify flawless simplicity.

Four sisters form the four solid pillars. Despite the hardships, kids could only focus on textbooks and make additional money by selling during the fasting month, painting wooden dolls at a tiny shop near his house, or supporting neighbors in vegetable trade at the market.

Education then provided a path out of pain. The love of family eventually saved everything.
